New Orleans Pelicans: 100-1

The New Orleans Pelicans ended 14 games under .500 this past year, but the 2014-15 effort must see them vault over the break-even mark.
That’s a substantial improvement, though it’s as much a statement about the franchise’s rotten luck per year ago as anything else. Jrue Holiday and ryan Anderson missed parts of the season with knee and back injuries, respectively. Eric Gordon and anthony Davis lost time Too.
Better fortune on the injury front, alongside the addition of Omer Asik at the center, should propel the Pelicans forwards as they develop into a team worthy of Davis’ presence. This season marks a developmental landmark for the organization and Your Brow.
Themselves should now move in the postseason conversation, though not a championship-caliber squad:

Whether they have enough to actually get there’s a different conversation, and it’s difficult to point to a single team from last year’s playoff harvest that is likely to fall out. But if Davis is as good as he is likely to be and everyone else stays relatively healthy, they’ve got a opportunity.
The Pelicans are constructing a skyscraper, and it will probably be sensible to get in on the ground floor.
